Biography
Carsten Lyngsø Thomsen is the President of Lantmännen Unibake, a leading international bakery group. He assumed this role on October 1, 2022, succeeding Werner Devinck. Prior to his current position, Carsten served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Northern & Western Europe at Lantmännen Unibake from March 2021.
Carsten’s extensive experience in the food and beverage industry includes roles such as CEO of Toms Group from 2014 to 2020, Head of Lantmännen Cerealia, and Managing Director at Lantmännen Schulstad. He has also held leadership positions at Carlsberg, Kraft Foods Denmark, and Coop Denmark.
Carsten holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability and innovation in the bakery sector, focusing on promoting healthier baked goods and responsible production practices.
