Biography
Pierre Tossut is the CEO of Puratos Group, leading the company with a deep passion for people and innovation. With a relentless drive to challenge boundaries and connect unexpected dots, Pierre consistently creates value by pushing the limits of what is possible. In his role as CEO, he is dedicated to fostering a sustainable, respectful, and balanced operating model that propels Puratos to new heights.
Pierre’s journey with Puratos began in 1994, and over the years, he has undertaken various pivotal assignments within the company. His extensive experience spans the entire Puratos Value Chain, encompassing product development, supplier management, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing of products and services. This holistic understanding of the business has equipped him with a comprehensive perspective that fuels his strategic decision-making.
Educationally, Pierre holds a Master’s Degree in Bio-Engineering from the University of Gembloux, Belgium. To further sharpen his management skills, he pursued a Post-Graduate Degree in Management from CEPAC, the Solvay Business School in Brussels. To expand his global perspective and enhance his leadership capabilities, Pierre completed the Stanford Executive Program in Palo Alto, United States, in 2015, and the INSEAD Advanced Management Program in Fontainebleau, France, in 2007.
Being a Belgian citizen and a second-generation Italian immigrant, Pierre brings a rich cultural background and a diverse mindset to his role as CEO. This unique blend of influences has contributed to his ability to navigate complex business landscapes and drive international growth for Puratos.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Pierre finds joy and fulfillment in his role as a devoted husband and a dedicated father of two.
